The ancient town
CORSO CAVOUR
Corso Cavour, also called in the past "Borgo Superior" (Higher District), has, at the start, a beautiful small, fourteenth century loggia, near the Commune Palace, decorated with an interesting fresco.
Along Corso Cavour you can find the Palazzo del Podestą (Podestą Palace), the indoor market with its beautiful Renaissance door, the local and most ancient printing shop (it is also the site of a graphic arts museum) and, on the left, the so called "departed's door" used during the moyen-age as access for the upper floor houses.
